Story Behind the Invention
Inventor Timothy A. Farmer of Brookpark, OH has created an innovative new window screen system for motor vehicles.
The idea was born after attending a driver’s education class with three classmates. His turn to drive became unforgettable when a large yellow jacket buzzed into the car and settled on the instructor’s lap, causing immediate chaos. The instructor panicked, attempting to swat the bee away while his hands and papers flew everywhere. In a frantic response, the instructor pressed the brake on his side, leading to a cloud of smoke from the tires that was visible in the side mirror. Amidst this commotion, Timothy managed to stop the car while making a turn. It was later discovered that the instructor had a severe bee allergy. This eventful day was not just a vivid memory for Timothy, it sparked the inspiration for him to invent Drivin Edge!
